A good Android based tablet for GPS navigation

One thing I see in some of these installs is that they are blocking spaces where air bags are. Check and make sure devices are not being located in front of where the air bag is stored. An air bag inflating can make missiles out of the devices. The post just prior to this one made me aware of it. That area he wants to store the device when not in use may be used for the front air bag. Check the area and see it is labeled as an Air Bag.

The airbag is actually up above the dash on the right side, but it is not activated unless there is a passenger in the seat.
On the FJ Cruiser there is a red light on the dash that says airbag activated, and buckle up.
If I am driving with a passenger, more than likely I would have them hold the tablet instead of being in the mount.

Got it all done today, last page in my build thread in the sig below.

Noticed you got the Shield. Were there any other models in the running for you? I just started looking into tablets to run BCN and I'm a bit overwhelmed with what's out there. Like to spend between $100-150. I know the Shield costs $50 more and I just may consider it as well since I can game on it.

Cheers!

No, once I found out about the Shield, I was pretty much set up on getting it, but I did look at Acer and a few others before I found out about it.
I read the reviews on Amazon where I got it, and the reviews were very positive.
