Ronny Dahl's Trips

Best 4 Wheeling Off-Road 2016

Ronny put together a compilation of drone footage, off road coverage, and rig walkarounds in this episode.
Really cool drone footage after the intro of a slew of rigs on the beach driving in a circle, then it shows them breaking away from the circle.

When I turned on YouTube this morning on my TV, this video came up in the recommended list to watch.
It too takes place in Australia like Ronny's vids, so I subscribed to their channel.
Some of you may like this channel too.
It is not their first video, so you would have to check out their channel for others.
Has anyone heard of this channel before?
You may have to restart the video as I am logged into YouTube, and the video on the computer here is picking up from where I have my TV in the other room paused right now.

I been watching Ronny on YouTube for 2 years now. I even contacted him once that if I send my Toyota 4x4 to Australia he would send me some of his all time favorite 4x4 GPS tracks, and maybe go on a trip with him. He's a really down to earth guy.

The Australian 4x4 culture is much better than the USA culture. Toyota vehicles come with snorkels from the dealer when purchased new, the overlanding equipment there tops the U.S. too. Aussie vehicles seem more robust and more options available for vehicle purchase. The USA is going backwards, less vehicles for us to purchase year after year. I've seen many australian vehicles fail some water crossings, interior filled with water. They opened the door and drove away without a problem, if the interior filled up with water with a 4runner or Tacoma vehicle is pretty much totaled . I've been to Australia once and I am dying to go back!

I agree, they are way ahead of us as far as a 4x4 culture goes.
Check out the second video below, I watched another video of his when he was picking out his new rig, and they all had snorkels at the dealership.
My tongue would be hanging out if I hit up a Toyota dealership there.

Since it is already 2017 in the land down under, Ronny made a video for New Years.

Happy New Year 2017 4 Wheeling Vlog Ronny Dahl

And in case if any of you also follow 4X Overland, he is getting together with Ronny to make a video later since he just moved to Australia with his family a short time back, and bought a new 79 Dual Cab V8 Land Cruiser to fix up.
I watch all of his videos too.

Looking forward to seeing more videos from both Ronny and Andrew. They are both great bloggers and I like how they represent the 4x4 community.

I like that canvas swag of his too, he has talked about it in past videos.

It's almost too painful for me to watch his videos...they constantly remind me of all the Toyota, Nissan and Ford goodness that we're not allowed to buy here in America (yet for some odd reason, I can go buy a 25+ year old imported landcruiser with none of the safety or emissions standards of the current offerings).

I saw on on his Instagram post today that Land Cruiser 105 with the solar panel on the roof he covered a week back will be in the next trip report, a three part series I think.
Yeah, I would love to have a 79 LC like he has with the tray on the back.

Thanks for sharing guys. I've stumbled across his reviews before, but never any of his trip reports. I just subscribed. Now I have some binge-watching to do:wings:
I'm filming my travels, but new to the process of producing episodes, so always looking for more inspiration.
Thanks for putting in the time and effort to create the content Ronny
