Then i started plumbing the shower:

Put in some ducting for the airtronic:

Then i made the dryer cabinet:

There will be some led stripes for indirect lighting:

Looks great! Dryer cabinet should be sweet. Venting it at the top? Careful of melting things... I lost shoe to our airtop last trip. It was just sitting in front of the grill

The cabinet will vent into the shower. The shower will have a roof vent. So i can use the shower also as a dryer cabinet when not in use.

Made some parts that will be copper plated:

Awesome, I wish I had the skills and tools to do that! Copper plating them yourself?

Thanks. Just sent the parts out for copper plating, no time to mess with it myself.

I bought a y-connector for the airtronic hoses without a flap cause i thought i don`t need one. Well, turned out that i indeed need one, so i had to spend some time in the shop. Cause i wanted to get it done fast and it`ll be hidden i brought out some redneck fab:

Now i need to think of a nice way to actuate the cable. Maybe some kind of fancy lever?

Simplest one would be an old school bike thumb shifter; change the cable so that it has a screw to hold the cable at the flap end holding it and you can then use the standard gear cable.

Things are coming along nicely Steinez. I am just curious about your choice of wood material for the shower cabinet. Particle board is not the most water resistant material out there. Otherwise everything seems to have your flair for detail and good fab work. I am looking forward to seeing your next post. I hope you had a good trip in the mountains. Cheers, Chilli...:)

Thanks. The shower is not made out of particle board. Not sure right niw cause my dad bought it, but i think it`s mdf. But i recall he said it`s water resistant that`s why he chose it. I`ll ask him tomorrow.

So i grabbed one of my oldest friends today, also a piece of aluminium:

Well, that piece was to big to hog it down on the mill and to small to saw it. So i parted off a disc of aluminium instead:

Drilled some holes:

Cut parts of it away:

Starts to look like something:

Then i turned down the head of a bolt, drilled and reamed it:

Turned a small shaft:

And put everything together:

Had to make a spacer:

The mount for the cable:

28665605kn.jpg

Welded it to the shaft:

28665606wm.jpg

All the parts:

Finished:

28665609tc.jpg

Put in the valve:

28705335jb.jpg

All the other stuff in:

28705339aa.jpg

28705340rp.jpg

Wired it:

28705345ni.jpg

Almost finished:

28705353rl.jpg

Then we started on the right side:

28705403cn.jpg

And then dumb us killed the brand spanking new fridge. We didn`t notice that the copper line bent really hard and started leaking. I broke it off then to let the remaining refrigerant out.

I think i can fix it though. I can solder the line back on no problem. I can also add a fill valve somewhere. Either with a t to the line that i have to fix or to the other line that is currentlx blocked off. Anyone familiar with those units? Is the blocked off line the factory filling line? Also i don`t know how much refrigerant i should charge. There`s no label on it. Anyone can help me with that?

And here`s a total:
