Just bought these at an online auction. Hope they fit??? At least to do the mockups for the sawzall engineering of the fender rework. Now to try and find a cheap 385/65R22.5 tire around the place.

7 off 22.5 x 11.75” rims (think steer tires for a cement truck). Plus 6 off 22.5 x 8”.

Well that’s what I think I bought. Not sure of the stud pattern apart from being fairly sure that are hub pilot 10 lug. So either normal hub pilot rims or 10 on 335 hub pilot.

This is not my truck but Little Red (Son in law). We are putting an Onan 2500 W LPG generator in this rig. We removed the cabinet above the rear bumper and there is ample room to fit it in there.

By my early eyeballing it looks like we can have it sit above the bottom of the bumper rail hanging off the bumper mounts.

Access to switches, oil dip stick etc will be through the original cabinet door.

More details to follow.

My 4 kW is too long to do the same thing. In the words of W. C. Fields, "Drat!"

That’s a bummer. I was actually wondering about that as it is a sweet spot and I was considering swapping across to a 4 kw Onan in that spot and freeing up a lot of chassis rail space.

The 4 kW Onan gasoline or propane generator measures 30" long, 19.4" wide, and 13.8" high, with a total weight of 168#. I had looked at the space between the frame rails for mounting a 30" diameter spare tire, and I remember that it was too tight. My own 4 kW Onan will go in Compartment #2 (the rescue equipment compartment). The fuel tank will probably go between the frame rails in the rear. My plan is to mount the Onan on slides so it can easily come clear for maintenance and oil changes (Murphy's Law -- other wise, the oil drain WILL be directly over the exhaust pipe).
