Are you planning to spend more time exploring on the way back? 9 days to cover 6,000 miles seems like a good way of not seeing any of the places that you're driving through! 10+ hours behind the wheel each day surely doesn't leave much time for sightseeing or exploring?

Seriously? You're going to lecture someone else on that? It's the OP's choice as to how and where time is spent. Everyone has their own interests and ideas on how to travel and explore. If you want to show your appreciation for the OP, please do so. Otherwise, there's no need to bog down the thread with comments like those above.

Firstly, well done on your expedition, recording the trip & surviving it.

So envious and will watch your YouTube index bit by bit.

Hope you enjoyed it.

I wasn't trying to be patronising. It was an honest question which probably has a reasonable answer. It's an extreme drive to do in 9 days and I'm curious about the motivation.
