XLS - No Leather
4.90 Gears
12000 LBS Winch
It's lifted about 4"
OME HD 2" lift Coils (Nov 2015)
Monroe OE Spectrum shocks (Nov 2015)
1" custom spacer in front(giving about 2" extra clearance) and 1.5" spacer in the back
Brand new axle in front (Sep 2016), 2nd axle was rebuilt back in 2014.
New Control arms, bushings, links, ball joints in front (September 2016)
Last year I faced a coolant leak that was very hard to locate. I finally found it in the cracked water pump. At that time I decided to perform full top end service.
Timing belt, thermostat, new radiator, water pump (AISIN),professionally resurfaced heads, VICTOR REINZ gaskets all around, spark plugs, valve stem seals (complete top end work) in March 2016.
GPS built in dash
Sony Headunit with built in bluetooth
Alpine DVD drop down rear entertainment system for the kids
New battery Summer 2016

I'm pretty sure I'm missing a lot of stuff.

It's a midwestern car (yes, midwestern cars come with some rust) with appx 164-165K miles on it.
I have few other cars and this one wasn't my daily, but rather a weekend and trail ride.
1 ABS sensor needs to be replaced, it was broken when working on the front end suspension.

Nice, if I decide to sell my new truck I might be interested. Would you be interested in a swap for a 2007 Yamaha Royal Star motorcycle?

Keithert,

Sorry, but the only reason why I'm selling is an agreement with my wife to downsize on all toys, due to the fact that we just bought a Class C RV.

I just sold our pop-up camper, 2 snowmobiles and this is the last thing that I'd sell, but I made a promise and it has to go.

Good luck with your sale and reach out to me if you'd like to come out and check it out.
Not sure which part of Illinois you're from, but I might be at the Cliffs Insane Terrain in Marseilles, IL this or next weekend.

I gotta ask, what are the cargo dimensions in one of these? Like, from the hatch to the back of the bench seat/front seats? I'm looking for a new rig for my girlfriend and I, but I'm needing something that we can sleep in. Lol

Hi Arb098,

There's a post here on the forum where one of the owners built a sleeping/cargo platform in a gen3 for his trips in Puerto Rico.
http://www.expeditionportal.com/for...ontero-Initial-Impressions-Build-Thread/page6

He remembers it to be right at 6ft long from rear door to the back of the seats.
See his thread for details with pictures of the platform.

That was me. We toured all of Central America and Mexico in one. Then sold it and moved to Puerto Rico. I regret selling it almost every day. I wish I would have shipped it here.

You built a very nice Montero!
Buy my ride, I'll ship it to you :)
