Furnace gasket material

I am in the process of completely redoing my enclosed trailer/ camper conversion. One of my upgrades is a 1970's? Duo Therm propane gas furnace I am refurbishing and installing into the trailer. I've been taking it apart to clean and upgrade some parts, and modify to fit the trailer. Does anyone know a good gasket material to use in place of the white gasket that was on it? I do not need much, but is vital next to the burner.

My Webasto furnace coked up a couple of times when I was in the Rockies and I had to disassemble it without the right gasket to put it together. I just used a high-temp copper RTV silicone gasket that came in a tube from Ace Hardware. It works fine and no evidence of it leaking.
