Selling a 1979 model M416 trailer.

Apologies for the lousy photos, its been pouring rain!

Was owned by wildland fire dept as a reserve hose carrier for mop up.

Tub is uncut (no tailgate added)

The fire dept added a sealed lid top to keep gear secure. Easily removed if desired.

Trailer has No rust, and only some minor sheetmetal dings.

THe dark spots in paint are where the original army paint is showing thru the FD red.

Trailer has 12v lighting and a 2" ball hitch.

If you would like the trailer as seen in photos, the price is $1500.

For $2000, the hitch will be rebuilt with an extendable/removable tongue, and a lockNRoll 360* hitch.

I am in the business of offroad adventure fabrication, can also outfit this trailer to your specifications.

Questions about M416

Does it have brakes? What is the wheel bolt pattern on these? Does it have a title? Taillights?

I'd like to have the L n R hitch, but how much would you take off if I don't want the lid?

I''m interested and live about a days drive from Portland.

M416A1 check out the hubs. The bearing covers were shaped differently and they had hydraulic surge brakes like the M101A2.

You are correct. I bought one from him and found out after I drug it home that it has surge brakes, at least part of them. I need to find the OE tongue and surge brake components because I'm going to put that part of it back to stock.
