Well after much debate with the hurricane and some issues at work I said the hell with it and prepped and left today for ar and expo east. My first stop was cancelled due to hurricane damage so I drove to a state park in GA. Half way to AR. I know I've probably forgotten things as 2 days prep for 13 days out is ridiculous but I needed to get away. Here is the Jeep at work today just waiting for the adventure to begin. I am now at the stop over with a nice fire, cigar, and beverage. Cannot wait to see all my Anvil Adventure buds tomorrow and hang out. Way over due and sucks that I only get to see them all 1x a year as it stands.

If you haven't checked it out already there is a great smart phone app called untappd.
With that app, you'll never be more than a click or two away from a great micro brew. lol

Some random photos from my trip so far. Went to Applachian rendezvous and now I am in ashville sitting on the French broad river for a few days. Did some wheeling in Uwharrie had to replace rear diff cover as I banged the stock one on a rock. So i got to add the AEV diff cover I wanted to put on. All in all a great trip so far.

I got to get together with Jeff Scherb tonight and have dinner and just generally shoot the breeze. As always it is such a pleasure to hang out and just talk Jeep and everything else with him. This time as he has posted in another thread he brought his 06 LJ pickup. I have never seen it before in person. Boy oh boy was it great to see his "work" jeep. Safe travels home my friend!

While I was at expo east I decided on Friday before it got packed to do both the bfgoodrich course and the land rover course. I drove the bfgoodrich course 3x and 1x on rover course. Chose a jeep pickup old rhd diesel defender and Tacoma and then picked my wife's discovery sport to ride on rover course. So much fun!
