1999 FWC Hawk - east/west nonsliding bed conversion to north/south sliding bed?

Hi friends.
I have a 1999 Hawk. It sleeps east to west. it does not have the sliding tray and two extra cushions to make a queen (north to south).
Has anyone made their own sliding bed tray? I like the queen bed north/south sleeping on the new Hawk model I saw at a fishing show. I'd like to modify my Camper to do the same. Any thoughts or links to posts would be helpful. I searched, but came up empty handed. Maybe I am searching the wrong terms as I don't know the official name of the sliding bed tray.

Mine came with the sliding bed it's its as simple as two cleats on the side walls and a piece of plywood with a hardwood lip on the end.
