F450/550 DRW to SRW conversion

A second vote for first attack wheels.

450-550 ride like hay wagons, even when fully loaded. just clumsy.

they have funky lug spacings too.

parts are stupid expensive.

assume 80-150 K on the turbo with the new 6.7. we have replaced a few at 80k, and engines too. f - ed up machine.

not any more durable than the 350 ford. (which it can be argued has become a lightweight mechanically speaking).

Are the upfitters building flatbeds to the wider frame width dimensions of the homeowner pickup?

. 450-550 and 350 cab / chassis are 34" frame rail width to handle most of the truck bodies commercially available today.
