Circumnavigating Utah's Sawtooth Mountains

Just a quick report from circumnavigating (I think that's the correct term) the Sawtooth Mountains in Northwest Utah since snow prevents further access in.

Along the way on Dove Creek road heading towards Lynn - just a little bit of snow.

Just outside of Lynn.

Somewhere between Lynn and Yost.

Outside of Yost.

Outside of Standrod.

Overall, not a bad trip more of a scouting trip since I knew snow would be blocking access in. I did try to venture in on the road between Yost and Standord up to the guard station but snow/ice prevented that.

Next, time I'm thinking a GPS would come in handy since some of the roads noted in my map book I couldn't quite locate - have some ideas.

It's always cool to see the old log house's. We sometimes stand inside the house and try to imagine what their life was like back then. Thank you for sharing your trip.
