This trailer was built by the excellent BCT team in Phoenix, AZ to be a go-anywhere bivouac solution for overlanding, hunting, camping, and exploring the path less traveled. It includes onboard power, battery management system with shore power, electric brakes, 360-degree LED area lighting, LED corner and tail lights, a rugged roof-top tent that can fit 3-4 adults, a slide-out galley kitchenette (including gas stovetop, sink, and gas grill), full-size offroad 35" BFG tires, Method wheels, Roto-Pax water and gas storage, Torsion axle suspension with upgraded offroad shocks, cargo end rails, rear awning, generous amounts of locked cargo storage, internal storage space lighting, and a full-size spare tire & wheel mounted to a swing-out tail gate. Details and specs are defined below.
This trailer was hand-built in the USA with steel. It is purpose-built specifically to give you the freedom to go anywhere that your rig can go without holding you back, being top-heavy, or overly bulky. It tracks with a Ford F150 very nicely. It is intended to bring everything you need with you in a compact and efficient package, without any of the excess amenities that distract from our outdoor experiences. This is the perfect trailer for 'fast and light' overlanders, hunters, backcountry explorers, fisherman, outdoorsman, and dispersed campers. It's built to be rugged, reliable, and unstoppable.
2013 Bivouac Camping Trailers MOAB Fort XL (Package Charlie with additional upgrades)
Mileage: Approximately 3000 miles. About 70% of the miles are highway miles to/from the NW Overland Rally in WA and varying destination trips around Idaho and Utah.
Trailer frame and suspension specs
- Small footprint. Dimensions: 12' long x 6' wide x 5' tall (with roof top tent closed)
- Matte black powder-coated frame, side steps, cargo rails, tailgate, and fenders.
- Front and rear 2"x2" receivers. Bike-rack ready.
- 6.7 ft³ locking diamond plate storage box at front
- 34.2 ft³ internal storage with wired lighting
- Lightweight. Weighs approximately 1800 lbs.

- Tires (including spare): BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO (LT315x70 R17) tires

- Military-grade 3500 lb Torsion axle de-rated to 2500 lbs with 16" of ground clearance

- Tepui Kukenam XL Ruggedized roof top tent in gray. Sleeps 3-4 adults. Only used twice.

- (4) 2-gallon Roto-Pax gasoline containers, mounted to front cargo rail

Reason for Sale: Family is growing, outgrew it.
Known Problem: The roof rack mounting hardware could use some sealant. I wash the trailer after every trip, and under direct pooling on the trailer lid a small amount of water sometimes drips onto the main cargo bay area mat.
Terms: Title is in-hand and clean. Trades will not be considered. Cash or cashiers check only. Local (Boise area) transaction only, but I can deliver within 30m of Boise if requested.
