Leaf spring question .....

I have a 2016 camper, single Dexter 3500lb axle, 4 leafs in the spring pack, double eyelet spring (not a slipper spring). Question: how do they come up with the center of eye to center of eye measurement, with the spring on the camper/trailer & under load or empty off the camper/trailer center eye to center eye ?

The reason I am asking is because I measured mine on the camper & it is exactly 26" center eye to center eye & the leafs that are for sale are for either 25 1/4" or 27" and thats it. So, would mine be 25 1/4" or 27" ? I'm thinking 25 1/4" & with the 3500 lbs on them, the flex out to 26 ??? But i don't know. Thanks for the help. I want to buy a spare before we start traveling the USA (yes, they do break leafs, I have seen a few in my life, luckily-not mine).

EDIT: It seems there ARE 26" eye to eye leaf springs avail---all made in china. I was just looking in the wrong spots. https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Suspension/Universal-Group/SP-051275.html
