Rotopax Water Pack mounted to the M-PAC from Springtail Solutions. Same plastic spout and same metal vent I used on the previous Rubican and Rotopax.

This was done on the M-PAC but same could be done on the FrontRunner or Trailgater into the wood sliding table, it would need to be vented differently on those.

These are all so I have water where it is convenient. Springtail rates their table at 40 lbs load. Rafting I always planned for a gallon a day so I have a 4.5 day water setup with these.

ETA: The Rubican could be mounted to the M-PAC without an issue.

Mounting a Rubican to the Frontrunner , or Trailgater could be done but the spout would be hard to get to and the vent would need to be worked out. The rotopax with the plastic spout I can test out for the vent on the Frontrunner if there is an interest..

I have the Frontrunner table so may try it out, The Springtail worked out better for me in the end.

Digging the build.

Thanks.

I got some lighting I need to get on, for trail, night driving, and camping and cooking. Waiting on the LED bars to get here for the install. Already have the Switch-Pro, Ill probably mount the control panel to the Vector Offroad JK dash bar but may mount it to the windshield trim next to the CB or the A pillar, or I may hide the control panel and use the Bluetooth on my tablet or phone.

Finally I have another Rubican on the way Ill be selling my Rotopax water cans locally.

I dont have the new Rubican yet but my first thought was to just strap it in.

This is actually really stable with the straps, but Im going to drill my 50 year old cooler and bolt the Rubican to that to test how well it will work. My new cooler is the same as the old cooler, so I want to try it out first.

Mounting it to the cooler seems easier then using straps over the long run.

And mounted my holster.

JScherb designed it. You can get them from retrofitoffroad.com.

ETA: I have a second Rubican coming, Im going to to move the water Can thats on the drivers side mount to the rear rack and have both water packs back there. The drivers side mount will get a Rotopax gas can as well. I just need to sell the Rotopax water cans I have first.

The fender mounts and the Rubican are a good bang for the buck. The mounts are very solid as is the Rubican.

Can't say the same for the Rotopax price wise but still solid products .

Im trying to bond the Rubican mount to my cooler on the rack. I've got the Marine Goop on there and all of it strapped in for pressure for the bond, I'll see how well it hold on Wednesday. If the bond doesn't hold I'll drill and bolt for the cans.

I need the Plus One mount to mount both cans back there, that would give me 5 gallons of water. Would need to do some plumbing for convenience.

Mounted another 3.5 gallon Rotopax fuel can on the drivers fender giving me a half tank with both.

This mount is only there to hold the gas can to siphon into the Jeeps tank.

New Crager Soft 8s 15" with 1.5" hubcentric spacers. I would have liked them tucked under the flares but I like the 15" rim with a 33" tire.

This isnt what I wanted to do but I dont have a lot of your fabrication skills. I wanted to mount it to the side on the sport bar, but this will have to do and it still leaves room for the dog. Ties into the rear seat mounts and the rear mounts, three straps all around rated for 1200+ pounds each..

Stuff the rim full of blankets and throw one on top, and the dog has no complaints. Plus she has plenty of blankets in camp.

ETA: Plus I can stash soft stuff around the tire, or maybe put a platform above it.

Waiting on the video to load to youtube, but this is what Im trying out. These straps are rated for 1200+ pounds. I wont trust my dog back there until I get a few miles on this. Strapped to the sports bar and the rear seat mounts.
