Building an expedition vehicle, Who makes the box?

How about a command box AKA Expando Van:

Ward's (HealeyJet) http://forum.expeditionportal.com/threads/143852-Dodge-Ram-5500-motorhome truck box was built by Intercontinental Truck Body in Canada

Sister company in Washington TriVan http://www.trivan.com/truck-bodies-trailers/

A few more ideas (more DIY than prefab though):
This RV uses some really slick interlocking aluminum panels http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/125714-Ford-E450-4x4-build-revival?highlight=panel
/snip.

That last one is an ITB/TriVan as well. My truck is one of their bodies too. They are willing to build whatever you can think of if you want an aluminum skin.

Attempt to revive this thread. Are there any new composite box manufacturers in the US?

Has anyone tried GXV DYI Kit or Globe trekkers kits? Any feedback?

You know the best buy is a U-Haul box.
Light, aluminium body.
Built for commercial duty.
Generally low profile, often includes a ramp you could sell... or use.
Almost FREE in an auction on a trailer frame or on a truck built to be incredibly reliable and cheap.
AND secure..... leave the U-Haul labels on it and no one will want it. Or UPS or FED EX or.... used, old commercial bodies are a dime a dozen.

I booked Rock Bands into bars and the best rig was a Mister Christies Cookies Van.
$100K of lighting and acoustic equipment on board, no one paid attention.
Our egos attract attention.

PS, U-Haul Vans are almost free on the auction market.
