Hello everyone.
I'm nearing completion on my floor and thought I'd share my experience.
Source list
1/2" 4x8 sheet of King Starboard (black) - local TapPlastics - $300
Recessed Cargo L-track - http://www.uscargocontrol.com/Ratchet-Straps-Tie-Downs/Recessed-L-Track-tie-down - 2x 100" - $120
Various d-ring l-track fittings from USCargo - $40
Mcmaster
Edge trim - https://www.mcmaster.com/mv1493224979/#catalog/8693K26 $65
Aluminum strips - to make a backing plate with the l-track - https://www.mcmaster.com/#catalog/123/3699/=17dqgwa
Flat head screws - https://www.mcmaster.com/mv1493224979/#catalog/91771A539
Nuts - https://www.mcmaster.com/mv1493224979/#catalog/91831A029
Nuts and bolts to secure floor to the body - I found pre-existing holes, M8 and M10
Tools
Drill
Jigsaw
Hacksaw
Angle grinder
Starboard is great. Expensive, but its pre-finished, ready to go, looks amazing, and will last forever.
Basically all I did was line up where I wanted the track, cut to length, and then jigsaw'ed out the strip. Secure backing plate, bolt down. Bonus here is that this adds strength and rigidity to the floor.
More to come when finished
