Trailer has been slow going with so much heat this summer and baby #2. I have been stock piling supplies so hoping for a productive October.

Just got in my lock n roll hitch.

Line-x wanted $600 to coat this and my local powder coat shop said it was too large to fit in their oven. I ended up rattle can'ing it. I had to do a lot of prep to remove the rust. I then sprayed a rust sealer/inhibitor followed by 3 coats of primer and 3 coats of AEV black texture paint. Came out very nice. It's drying overnight and plan to clear coat it in the morning.

Left side panel glued on. Side door will house the slide out kitchen and the little square opening is for the water heater.

A little more progress. All panels are on. And started the front tongue box. Mig welding aluminum is tough. First time giving it a go. Test fit my water heater also.

My goal is to finish the tongue box, fenders and mount the doors, so its closed in and useable. 517676517677517679517680

Latest video update and some pictures below of work I accomplished today. Getting closed to usable.

All the seams were welding and ground down smooth. Rounded them off. Primed the top and corners.

Cutting the door latch openings. Of course my air cutting tool crapped out and this was done with a step bit and cutting wheel. Not pretty but it's all hidden once the latch goes in.

I ended up flashing around the door to make it look nicer. Just need to spot weld the 45 cuts and grind em smooth.
