Did you get the jacks locally or online? I need 3 for my built, but can't find them locally (Caribbean). Which make/model did you get?

Love your design and is coming along great!

Frame looks great! Very Turtlesque.. :) If i ever build a steel frame trailer i will do the same, obviously a good design!

Assuming you have serious medical background based on user name, so you probably know this, weld fumes and grinding dust can knock some people on their rears( I'm one of them) a good respirator with clean filters really helps. IIRC it's cadmium and chromium from the welding.

Build looks great, keep it up

yeah. I weld outside and have a fan blowing the fumes away from me. I did purchase a respirator though recently to be more careful. Appreciate the tips.

Finally a day off at 7 am so I am gonna try and get some work done in the afternoon.

Not my design. I've pretty much copied the turtle back trailer design and just modified it a bit to meet my needs like lengthening the main box and repositioning the eventual kitchen and storage. Also plan to add more access doors. If I had the money I'd buy one of theirs.

Some more progress. Welded in the supports and finished welding all the seams. Positioned the shower box in the front corner. Hopefully get more done tomorrow.

Yup...a few things...

Finally scored a nice shelter logic tent off of craigslist, so now the trailer is more protected and I don't need to keep covering with tarps.

The tarps were leaking and led to a bunch of rust build up. The downside to the tent is that is gets very hot inside so a lot of days I had to pass on working on it due to not wanting to die. I did get a few days in this weeks and made some headway.

Front skin panel put on.

View of side door and the custom radius door strikes I had made. Got them welded in and will have the straight bar done soon. It will allow for the pinch weld bulb seal to go all around.

Back door with skin and the door strikes in.

Shot of the top supports and have the rook rack bases clamped into place.
