Hello G friends...
I recently picked up a 1990 Europa import 300GE, as a family camping rig. I took it to a local Mercedes shop to have it inspected, and I have a number of small repairs to do, and I'm soliciting your advice.
Compression:
But they did say the head gasket and valve cover gaskets are leaking. How would you prioritize replacing the gaskets? What engine oil is recommended? I'll make sure it's always topped off. The vehicle Odometer reads 275,000 miles!! Previous owner thought it may actually be Kilometers, but the gauge does read miles.
Help me prioritize this list:
Little Quirks that I'll potentially live with unless there are some fixes you guys are aware of
I'll be ordering tires immediately. I need help picking a size, that'll fit my factory 15" wheels.

Your advice is greatly appreciated... I'm new to the G-Wagen, and I'm looking forward to learning more. My Goal is to have a very reliable, capable weekend warrior. I want to invest my money appropriately to achieve this goal.

- L/F Swivel Housing Leaking and needs to be resealed
- L/F ABS sensor wire worn through
- R/F Brake sensor wiring worn through
- Transmission Seeping needs to be resealed
- Steering Damper is bent | Does anyone run a return to center Damper?
- Washer pump and seal leak
- power stearing box has minor links
- belt tensioner at the end of adjustment
- Drivetrain noise (whine) only when under load coming from the front (diff possibly?)

- Driver's seat arm rest doesn't lock into positions anymore
- Driver's mirror motor control only adjusts up and down, not side to side
- Dome light doesn't turn on by manual switch, only by doors opening
- Doors only auto-lock from the passenger front door
- Rear wiper and washer pump aren't working
- Air Conditioning compressor is leaking, so no AC

- 33x10.5 r15 | This was top of my list, but will they fit a stock 300GE? Will they rob what little power I have?
- 31x10.5 r15 | What is currently on the vehicle
- Is there a 32x10.5 equivalent? I'm only finding 32x11.5s
