Looks pretty clean.

Current exchange rate (.73 Canadian to US) puts this at about $20,800 and should be easily importable (bonus = scenic drive home).

Thanks for the assist (been a while since I posted). Went ahead and edited the original post to fix.

By my math, you would have to stash it until 2019 to be driveable in the US.

You may be mistaken - that is gas, it is a US manufactured unit, and even non-US destined chassis need only have a US emissions certified compliant sticker on the door jam to be able to be re-imported. You might have been thinking this was a diesel, but again, even if it was, the wait period only applies to non US available models (Provan's are manufactured in the US).

It's a US vehicle in Canada. If it was first registered in Canada and not in the US, then you would have a customs fee to pay. if it was first registered in the US then exported to Canada i believe there is no fee and it is easily imported back into the US. I wish it was closer because i would love to inspect it and even buy it.

Interesting! I did not know that. Thanks for the clarification. I was under the impression that it was 25 years no matter what.

Thanks for the heads up on this! I picked it up Saturday and drove it back to Colorado. 1500 miles later it's back to where it originally came from. Border was simple enough to import back and it runs strong. A few minor things that I can take care of down the road, but first is the AC needs repair which the owner had disclosed. Basically drove 1000 miles with my shirt off and windows down when it was 95+ degrees in Idaho and Utah. My GMC van will be for sale shortly.

Wow, cool ride! I didn't know they made RVs based on the pickups. Bigger than the Astro Tigers, but maybe a bit easier to work on. Have fun!

Nice snag!

You might want to now also join up with other Tiger owners on the Tiger Owners Free Forum..

It's a great place to get info and tips

Yes, I've checked out that site for some good info. I don't have much experience with the 3-way fridge, and I think I'm leaning towards just putting my truckfridge chest style fridge in there or swapping out for another 12v front loading option.
