Mercedes trucks in North America?

Just a heads up on the importing part into Canada: Make sure (get it in writing from the shipper) that your trucks is absolutelly spotless! Any grain of sand/dirt will get canada customs upset and they will send the whole thing back where it came from at your expense! We just made this very costly and time consuming mistake.

Wow! I knew there were "rules" on the import that included cleanliness/foreign soil and such...but I have never been sure how rigid they were in it.

Oooooooo.....nice Sitec!

Sure is! One of the last MK/SK type cabs, as the front grille has the larger slats. Hub reduction axle front and rear (something I want!), and very low kms.. There was a pair of them, and they had a fifth wheel (turntable) right at the back and used to tow runway sweepers. The only question I'd be asking of the dealer if you're interested is what axle ratios they have... (Ie, will they do 90kmh or 110+kmh).. Enjoy.
