Anyone have any experience with Exide AGM Batteries

Hey Everyone!

I suspect I've got a bad cell or some severe sulfation in the battery of my 2011 Ford F-150. In addition, I'm working on a DIY battery pack project. The local Theisens Farm Store carries Exide AGM's in group 65 (to fit my truck) and 24 (to fit my battery pack) and they're surprisingly affordable compared to other AGM's on the market. Has anyone used these extensively? Any reviews?

Exide's one of the major manufacturers. IIRC many auto parts store chain batteries you see are actually Exide batteries.

Get it diagnosed / tested properly and you shouldn't have any trouble getting warranty / pro-rate service.

Hey Guys,

I ended up taking the plunge and getting a group 65 Exide AGM for my starting battery on my truck. I'll post here if I have any issues with it or how it works out.
