British Gas use them on the back doors. I guess they just want to advertise that huge fleet customer is using them.

if the thief's intention is to drive away, it would make the entry process a little less convenient. a smash'n'grab serves the owner right for leaving good stuff in site.

I understand that's blaming the victim, but it's also reality.

Where I live in London its also a good idea to eave the glove box open. I've had a window smashed twice by people who want to see if I've left anything valuable in the glove box. Needless to say this has never happened on my truck.

Probably talking about security film...some folks call it brick proofing.

Security film is good, but it is better to replace your windows with laminated glass.....

The billet door locks on the Earthroamer vehicles are made in house and they do not sell them to other potential users.

As an alternative, I have two of the The HEOSolution Van Security locks and they work well. As others others have stated, it is just a deterrent and does not stop the thieves from breaking the windows.
