I'm trying to figure out a roof rack solution for my fiberglass pop top. a majority of the roof space will be for a large solar panel, which i want to mount to a low profile rack so i can change the panel in the future if needed and remove it whenever.
Anyway, I'm wondering if anyones used something like Mac Track versa tie tracks to mount a roof rack? I'm thinking I'd run the tracks along the side of the pop top, which would give me a lot of flexibility for positioning. so im not stuck with what i got. Would also be nice for mounting lights or whatever else i might wanna throw up there.
I'm not sure if anyone even makes a roof rack attachment for mac tracks, but having to weld something together wouldnt be the end of the world.
