I hope this is all of the problems you are going to have but I'm sure you will have enough fun when you get home.

I've offered a stop over at my place several times and have had a couple of ROFs crash here. If Western Colorado is in your route pm me. Love that last photo.

Unfortunately we are also veteran flood clean up people so we know the routine. The one picture that sums up the trip is this one.

Thanks Ace. We'll be running East of the Rockies. Made Shelby, Montana last night. Should be down around Colorado Springs tonight. Customs was easy coming in. We turned over a few vegetables but had a good agent. Getting used to early sunset and warm temps agIn.

We made it back to Texas. Only 700 miles to go. The mountain views and cool temps. are behind us for now. Tomorrow we change over from travel mode to cleanup mode. Seems like most of the trip home one of us been on the phone coordinating with folks in Houston, filing insurance paperwork, etc. Thanks to those that followed along on our journey.

We've been home six days now. The house took 4 feet of water. Not too bad compared to many in the Houston area. Thanks to the help from many friends and people that just stopped by to help we've tossed all the contents out of the house and sorted it into trash and clean and try to save piles. We stripped the house to 8 feet, all appliances out, all cabinets out. By the end of the weekend we'll have it washed down and sprayed with anti mold solution. We also found another place to rent for a while and moved in today with surviving stuff. The neighbors dogs are glad we're back and are enjoying the rare opportunity to come inside the house to nap on the cool floor

    Good luck with all that.

Back in Holland we lived about 30 ft. below sea level and flooking is always an option there....
