Simplifying my life, and this van has got to go.
I've just finished spending ~10k on this, and yes I have receipts. I'm losing money, but this is one of a few vehicles I'm selling, that I need to get out of my life to focus on other things; finishing school, being a good husband, etc.
Selling cheap for quick sale. $8K Price OBO.
The good:
All 4x4 conversion work done professionally at MIT drivetrain specialists.
Conversion finished this year.
Only 160k miles.
Cruise control.
-new shocks,
-overhaul of front and rear axles
-new water pump
-new tires
-much more.
Receipts. !!
Drives good.
I just stripped the inside and have plywood ready for building out a living space, included.
Hippy paint job looks awesome. It's water based artist paint, and I suspect it could be pressure washed off (you can see it peeling off, leaving the teal underneath completely normal). I've chosen to leave it and not to clear coat it or anything. You can do as you please, but I think it's just about the most awesome looking thing on the road.
Ultra reliable 460 Gas motor.
The bad:
-AC doesn't work, (yet. haven't worked on it...)
-some minor rust,
-so eccentric looking your suburbanite neighbors will vomit upon seeing it.
-torn front seats (I plan to replace these with captains chairs and up the price accordingly.)
-owned by dirty hippies that should have treated her better.
-inside is stripped out (ready for build-out)
