I plan on adding a couple hundred watts of solar and a fridge before heading off to Central America for the winter. What are your thoughts?

I insulated the shell and glued an acrylic cover over the insulation, added some LED lights. I have a queen size tri-fold mattress elevated on 2x8s.

Nice rig, I considered going this rout, decided on the 4x4 van rout instead. I like how the sides open up for cross ventilation and shade!

I get 12.5 mpg whether empty or fully loaded with 4 people's camping gear/kayaks. My buddy's tacoma gets around 14 mpg when we load it up for a weekend trip.

I just finished my side table, which uses one of the bed platforms for cooking/eating in bad weather.

I've got under $3500 into the topper/rack/outfitting,etc.
