Did not want weight of spare tire tearing up tail gate. So decided to build Jerry can carrier and tire carrier. Still some bracing, high lift jack attachment points etc to be added. The thing about this carrier it can be added to any vehicle with receiver hitch. Just unbolt the tire carrier and put on one with proper bolt pattern. The will be two more support points not just the receiver hitch.
