Just an other aluminium truck camper project

2 month ago we went to a scale and with 5 gal water, camping gear for 10 days, food and beer plus two not so lightweight persons added up to 2780 kg (legal 2990 kg) - makes around 650 kg (1400 pound give or take a bit) for the camper.
Here some pics from the (nearly) finished interior and the new awning:

latest add on was a bicycle carrier that allows entrance with out unmounting the bikes and getting heavy stuff out of the way. I know there are trailer hitch mounted systems available in the US, but nothing similar here what is legal and TÜV (our mandantory safety inspections) approved - so i did some designing and spend the rare free time in the shop, here is the result:

missing on the pic is the 2nd lic plate and the light bar (again - mandantory stuff over here)
The two 210 pound gas struts keep 90 pound ebikes lifted without any problems, carrier is dirt road and bump tested :)
