Got more done.
List of things to do:
Wire lights
Build fenders
Wrap the front tool box
Build doors for tool box
Corners and drip edge
Propane line
and probably lots of little things that tend to turn up right before a trip.

Forgot to mention what sealant/adhesive I use...
Vulkem116,about $7 a tube ,much cheaper than 3M body panel adhesive($90)
It takes about a week to set up but once it does it is fairly permanent with no rattles.

Lid Jack

Details on your trailer please. Almost exactly what I am looking for. Also how did you rig that lid.

Sorry for the tread hijack you can pm me the response

Nothing too fancy on the lid lift. Just found the tallest scissor jack I could and welded it to a cross member. Made slot door on the side of the trailer you can see in the middle pic to insert the crank handle when fully closed. Lid is all aluminum so originally was very easy to raise, but now has a rack, awning and other bits so it takes a little more muscle to get it started but gets easier as it goes up. Just have to balance out the load on top.

Nicely done, man, and the vid shows clearly how capable your new trailer is on the trail.

Finished the fenders and running boards...

...and the tool box lid. The boat rack pivots for access and also will be temporary
rain shelter (tarp strapped over canoe) until I can afford a clamshell type RTT.

Well - they are great to experiment with :D But a small nimble zuk has it's advantages too. I built mine till it had to ride on a trailer to get places - too far. Scaling back, building another one with the turbo-diesel and maybe 35's maybe 31's again.

Nice trailer - you could easily keep it a lifetime. Mine is 25-something and honestly not as nice a build.

Did a stove and countertop upgrade.Rebuilt the rusty crusty stove box and components with stainless steel.

And replaced the painted top with stainless and added a small back splash...
Much easier to clean now.
