Interesting Van Window replacements I purchased today from a salvage Van

Today while "Shopping" at the JY I found a Chevy cargo van with a unique set of SOLID windows that I have never seen before. These were installed in a late model Chevy van that was a work van for a local A/C company. I was able to purchase the full set for both sides of the van cheap.

These "Solid" windows can be installed in a window van or a cargo van with the window holes cut out. These "Solid" window replacements are something I have never seen and appear to me that they could very useful in a late model "Expedition" Van as they can/will give the appearance of a work/cargo van all the while giving the vehicle builder some options are far as interior design, outside access to the inside of the van and ventilation. Since these "Solid" windows actually open UP with a solid door if you will you could screen the opening, add storage access, box a TV in one or all sorts or new ideas!

These appear to be nice Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic panels with nice weatherstripping, nice latch mechanisms, hinges and gas strut supports.

Anyone every see this window conversion and what do you all think as far as application in a camper or expedition van?

They're called Pro-Access, a factory option on the GM vans, pretty neat that they are actuated with the key fob. There are a few folks with these vans over in the camper van forum.

that's pretty cool, that's the conversion I need to do to my wife's JoKe. Have the parts, just not the time.
