Sorry if this has been covered before. I searched vaguely but didnt find any topic covering it.
I would like ideas on good smallish containers for holding various spices, sugar, tea, coffee, etc.
Would like plastic i guess so they dont clank about on the little shelf in the camper
Thank you
Frans

spice containers

I bought these from IKEA. They are stainless, clear insert in the lid and have a magnetic back. They hold just under 6 ounces.

I use these little plastic ones. They fit upright in the drawer of my camp kitchen, they're humidity proof (I don't know if they can be submerged though), and they're small so I can refill them between trips and not worry as much about the spices getting old or stale.
Simple, easy, cheap.

I make my own BBQ spice rubs & seasonings, we use in many of our camp meals. This comes from my old days of competitive BBQ'n . Naturally we carry Kosher Salt, Course Ground Black Pepper, All Purpose Seasoning Salt, Cavenders Seasoning, but a few of my own personal BBQ rubs & seasonings also.

I just got a small tote...cant find it online or I'd post a picture and it's out in my shed and I'm feeling to lazy to go take one....but it's about 10" x 6" x 5" deep. Has decent latches on all four sides so it doesnt come loose. I usually get half sized spices except for salt, pepper, garlic powder etc (the stuff that I use a lot of). And each year I put them in the kitchen and get new ones. They dont stay fresh forever. But I cant see buying some fancy premade spice kit. I buy what I and my family use a lot of.
