Best hinge for folding bed?

Anyone use one of these gravity-driven "drafting table" hinges for a folding bed in your rig? *I want to be able to lift the last third of my bed about 45 degrees to get to storage underneath, without having to prop it up or do anything complicated. *It's my understanding these hinges lock in place to whatever degree you lift them to, then you lift it a little more to unlock it so it slides back down.

I looked at those for my couches for storage, I think they will work as the cushions are light. Not sure about a bed.

Whats a Drafting Table ??

I suggest a piano hinge to keep stuff from pinching into the gap.
Those supports you inquired about would be great if they carry durability needed.
IKEA of all places has similar also. At least did a few years past... I used them on no-legs folding down table what attached to a wall.
He would still need the piano, hinges, or a pivot point this would just hold up that section
