So here is stock versus new power steering reservoir location.

It was 5 or 6 years ago but it does appear that I cut 1 of the studs off. My take is that it would be easy enough to tack a new one on if you wanted to go back to stock. Then you move the factory bracket so that the hole that used to accept the stud that gets cut off is on the other.
Here is the "battery box I made back then which also secures to the one remaining stud via tab in the 1/4" puck board.

Battery is held down via J hooks from Canadian tire "NASCAR hold down kit.
I drilled one hole near the bottom of the abs bracket

And built a simple angle iron backer that both supports the battery from the factory air box mounts. When I originally designed this the truck was running s K&N cold air intake (installed by previous owner) and those were I believe un used or had thin metal vs factory using thick plastic I vaguely remember cutting them off the intake when I installed it to plumb to the snorkel but that's another story.

There's a hole in the plastic "box" that allows it to come through but spaces it enough for the battery.

I now have way more tools and knowledge and could make something much nicer from steel and if I was doing it fresh I would. But to be honest the "redneck" solution I came up with then has worked flawlessly and is showing no signs of failing (95,000 km later)

One thing I am going to replace is the top strap as I've gone through 2 of the NASCAR rubber ones now as they seem to dry up and crack. The new one will be steel but I may cut the end off the rubber ones to keep as spacers between the airbox/the j hooks.

Those are perfect, thank you!

My Odyssey is slightly longer than the optima, just enough to where I can't use that factory stud for the PS resevouir, at least not without minor modifications to the existing bracket. Just gotta get a template figured out for the bottom mounting plate but it shouldn't be to hard. I should have that done tonight hopefully.

Those pictures are very helpful, thank you again!
