FWC wiring question

Curious as to how most connect a Four Wheel Camper with the 3 prong trolling motor connector to a newer 7 pin in bed connector. I cannot seem to find an adapter and assume I will just cut off the end of the 3 prong connector and replace it with a 7 pin. Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

No adapter that I know of. You can rewire to a 7 pin no problem. Three wires, ground, 12 volt power, and ground. The smaller campers are not wired for lights.

I've had a similar thought and couldn't ever find anything so I thought I would just wired the 2 adapters together.
 
It's an Attwod trolling motor plug... Walmart had them, maybe they still do. Just look in your owner's manual or on the Internet for how the 7 pin is wired. You have power, ground and clearance lights to configure.

My Fleet has a dedicated trolling motor mount from the battery into the bed of the truck, it is fused. My understanding is that your 7 pin connector does not offer enough amps to charge the battery.
