Expo Refrigerators when not on a trip

What do most people do with tyheir 12v frigs when they are not on a trip? I have seen some people just keep it in their vehicle running with beverages; some people use it as a home beer cooler; some use it as a secondary freezer in the home. Any reason to use it continousely vs. any reason not to?

I have an Engel that stays in the garage on AC, use it to keep drinks cool.

for the money I spent I want max use from mine so it is either running in the rig or running at the house.
My home fridge runs 24/7 so why not my ARB fridge

I don't use it, but should there ever be a chest freezer threatening power outage it will pay for itself very quickly.

The manual for my Engel recommends running it at least periodically... better for it.

Beer fridge when we want the extra room.

we also bring it to our friends places full of beer for parties.

I use mine 24/7 in my daily driver. I keep my lunch time food in it.

I bought a cheap furniture dolly from Harbor Freight, took it apart and used the casters to make a Fridge dolly (with short sides to keep it on the dolly). It's in the garage ready to go. I've got enough appliances running - don't need to use the Whynter baby fridge/freezer too.
