Proportioning valve

Hi all, as I'm getting ready to do the rear axle swap into my gen 1. For those who did the swap, did you need a proportioning valve for 4 wheel disc? I haven't seen any info except that everything just bolts up. Please help advise me on what's the best way for the 4 wheel disc set up on the gen 1. Thx.

Good question, is there a porportioning valve? or is that duty preformed by the Master Cylinder?

I would plan on putting one in - they are cheap (Wilwood adjustable one is about $45). Great for when you go from unloaded to fully loaded...

I like Wilwood's lever type one - six quick positions with easy to see visual verification of the setting - the standard ones are 11 turn knobs so its hard to know where it is set.

ANother question is whether you have a Residual Pressure Valve for the drums - they are usually set at 10 pounds for drums while discs use a 2 lb setting or don't have one at all.
