Hello all,
Up for sale is my 1999 Ford E-350 Ambulance. It has the 7.3L Powerstroke Turbo Diesel and has be extremely well maintained and never tuned. The vehicle has 225k miles on it currently and rising as I trade off daily driving this and another car. I have done everything I can to make sure that all immediate and preventative maintenance was taken care of with the thought that I would keep the van forever. This should be clear looking at the list below. Oil changes were always done with DELO 15W40 and a motorcraft filter every 5000 miles. This would be a great candidate for a 4x4 build.
This has been an awesome setup as a tow rig and camper. I have towed about 6 times a year with it for two years and it is well setup to do so (gauges, larger trans pan, steering stabilizer, brake controller etc.). The rest of the time it was used as a hauler for dirt bikes. it has 3 wheel chocks inside the box to hold three full sized dirt bikes and 4 seats total. For the right price I will include a hitch carrier so you can seat 4 and carry four bikes. The van has done the entire WORCS series for two years and as well as the California Rally Series all over the place Idaho, Arizona, Utah, Nevada etc. I purchased the van with 170k in September of 2015 and it's seen quite a few adventures since then and it is ready for more!
It has an isolated solar setup 100W with a very nice AGM military battery to run the internal and external leds. There are two flip down beds in the back that work great for camping. I've even slept three with someone on a sleeping pad on the floor. The cab is very well insulated (see photo) which keeps it very warm at night and cool"sih" in the hot summer.
I am selling because I have decided to upgrade to a newer transit for a bit more room. I included an image of what it looked like when I first got it.
I am asking 15k obo and I am happy to remove all the decals before sale if desired.
I'll post a few more photos of the interior shortly.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or if you'd like to see it, thanks! I am located in Southern California but happy to pretty pretty much anywhere in California. I am usually in the bay area once a month with the van visiting family.
