Like this concept, would like to free up space on my roof rack. But there is no way to lock them correct? Undo the ratchet straps and it's off?

I used some small steel, stranded, vinyl coated wire from home depot to make a cable with two eyes on it. Lashed it through the wheel/bumper and put a padlock to prevent the smash and grab thief. I'm pretty sure I still have the cable, if I do, I'll include it. Just buy your own padlock
