Doesn't sound like it has truly been "Bullet-proofed"......NO mention that I can see of replacing head bolts etc .......the most expensive aspect of a truly bullet proofed Ford 6.0

The add seems pretty clear. Says the water pump and EGR cooler were replaced with Bullitproof parts.
It’s not practical nor is it necessary to replace the head bolts with ARP studs unless the rig is really being stressed with constant heavy towing, racing etc.
I have no dog in this hunt, I just get tired of all the internet hate on the 6.0
Yea, they have some shortcomings (most motors do) but when properly addressed they’re awesome power plants.
Hell, my 05 F-350 just turned 200,000 with no B/P mods done. It’s not like I baby it either. I’m a contractor so, it regularly hauls 4-5 thousand pounds around as well as towing my boat, heavy equipment etc. No way a SMB van is going see anywhere near that kind of abuse. Not to mention they’re de-tuned and have a smaller turbo due to the fact that they don’t have a innercooler.

My personal experience with a 2004 6.0 (which I purchased new btw......) was absolutely horrible. Heads/Turbo..........you name it.........and that was before seeing 90K miles. I have no doubt that some 6.0 owners have had better luck with there's but I can only speak for myself.
On the other hand I've owned two 7.3's with one going on 400,000 miles as a work truck carrying a utility body with 2000 lbs of tools everyday. The diesel specialist who works on mine tells me that in his work on many many Ford diesels over the years my experiences with both the 6.0 and the 7.3 have been typical.

Yea. Im on my third 7.3 PSD platform. All have been awesome. I dont know the difference but ive heard the early 6.0 and later 6.0 have different reliabilty issues? I dont know but either way I personally would not want to own a 6.0. 😀😎
