I dunno of Seattle area Clubs, but you find huge number of folks living 24/7 Overlander lifestyle. Most every district you see numerous occupied vehicle based camping rigs. Many appear having traveled the world twice over. But seems vast majority folks are tent based.

For cultural enrichment, I used to visit Ballard district many times per year & still do but only once or twice. Always try to arrive or leave city between 22:00-05:00 to miss traffic jams.

Outside of what you may find in a petri dish and is only treatable with antibiotics; I don't think there is much wilderness culture to see in Ballard
