looking For Tips/Securing Honda 2K Generator

I want to secure a Honda 2K to my hitch mounted cargo carrier.I bought the theft deterrent bracket(https://www.amazon.com/Honda-63230-...&qid=1512273348&sr=8-9&keywords=honda+eu2000i) keep the thieves from sawing the handle off.I want to be able to run the generator at a HWY truck stop.I have seen a few generator boxes ranging in price from $600 to $1K,(https://www.4truck-accessories.com/portable-generator-box)
I plan on getting an Aluminess bumper with generator box in several months so I don't want to buy one for short term use.
Any suggestions?

First thing I did to mine, years ago, was remove all the plastic skins, and paint them all BROWN.

Doesnt even look like a Honda anymore.

Best theft deterant IMO is to make a honda EU series not look like one

Making a metal enclosure / cage for it would be best. Just make it well ventilated. Maybe a hinged top with the hinge on the vehicle side so the tilted top helps to divert even the Honda's minimal noise away from you / towards your neighbors.
