I've switched over to a four wheel camper and need to get it sold by the end of the year. I've had zero problems with the torsion bar. It might need a little bit of fiberglass work down the road but it is still fully functional. I was camping in it with high winds and no issues whatsoever. A small nick near the rear window a little bigger than a quarter. Only cosmetic and doesn't affect functionality.
It comes with a rainfly I've used once. It definitely provides added warmth and coverage. The flippac was sold new at 8k.
The previous owner told me the flippac was manufactured in 2002. I had it on a 2004 Tacoma with interior clamps to the metal bed. I'm located just outside the west gate of Yosemite.
