2003 Ram 1500 family fun work truck

I sold the 4runner a few years back and have been driving my old 2003 corolla. saving money and trying to decide what i wanted. then an ad for this truck came up and i bought it.

2003 ram 1500 hemi 4x4. 167k on it. pretty clean, no rust, no major leaks. its going to be my work truck but also the family weekend fun truck.

the day i bought it. look at all the chrome.

first thing i did was remove the bed rails and step bars.

then debadged it.

added led lights front and back.

also inside. just strips with velcro stuck to the sticky and wired into the dome light.

the front door switch bezels were broken so i got new ones off ebay and got them installed. both sides had the keeper tabs broken off so the bezel rattled in the opening.

future mods will be...

change all fluids
continue chrome removal
all terrain tires
tbar crank and alignment
winch bumper
rear bumper
skid plates
contractor cap with ladder rack
a small popup camper to take the family out

Great mods so far. My personal favorite is the Texas State flag on the rear tailgate. :victory:
The LEDs, patches, pictures and pins on the visor are pretty cool too!
What are you thinking for tires? So many great choices now.
