No question about it, the ad is horrible. But these do not come up for sale very often, and they are highly sought after. It will still sell despite the ad.

These are incredibly well designed and well built campers... and are very hard to find used.

This fall I snagged (sight unseen) a 2011 Ford regular cab Bengal Tiger and promptly took it off on a wonderful 2,600 mile 21 day camping trip. I fell in love with the rig the first day. It was an absolute joy to drive (and park), has a very livable floorplan, and is very well equipped.

Mine had with three times the mileage of the one above, and cost me @$78,000 so I'd say this one is fairly priced.

There's another high priced Tiger, a 2013 Siberian, now listed for sale on the Tiger owners forum. Very Nice rig but, ouch, $99k!

(Whoops, I meant Malayan....):)

Short Malayan, not Siberian. This is Malayan 001, a rare beast, one only about four ever built. Much, much nicer camper than the Bengal.

Tigers are usually on the market for about 45 minutes before they are bought.

Is Tiger still fully in business? The website used to list 3 models but now only lists the Bengal. These are really nice looking campers.

Favourite features:
1 Adaptability (for both desert-like heat + extreme winter cold conditions)
2 Size (decent gas mileage; parking and manoeuvrability in a busy city; off-road capability is excellent)
3 Access from the cab to the living area (not only for pass through while on the road or in poor weather, but also the added openness and use of the space while parked. The ability to get up front and drive off without having to go outside has many advantages.)

Option to buy Kuat bike rack

For the life of me I can't understand why they would build that on an F250. It is guaranteed to be over GVWR's sticker when it is loaded. Dry weight listed is 9600#, which is already probably over GVWR. Imagine wet weight with 2 people, fully loaded, probably over 11,000#. An F350 would have been a better choice (just from a legal standpoint, in British Columbia)

True, but. Really not much difference between a 250 and 350. Springs and shocks mostly. Even a 350 suspension doesn't work that great. Sounds like the owned realized the need for suspension improvement. If you don't want to beat yourself and the rig, these need a \ https://kelderman.com/shop/?cat=3air air bag suspension. Full on air suspensions are really the way to go for comfortable back road travel. These rigs are not off-roaders but can get you into the remote areas on roads less traveled. You might still end up parked next to a Subaru but he'll be in a tent and you'll have all the comforts of home. After 4/5 days, you'll be relaxed and he'll be exhausted, LOL
BTW, The Malayan is better in cold weather than my Bengal but these are three season RV's not four IMO. Anything below 25 is not sustainable for very long.

I know there's not much difference between the F250 and F350. I've written articles about it before. In fact, in some years if you got the Camper Package on the F250, it was identical to an F350 in everyway.

So I am not concerned with the safety. But I am concerned with the legality. In British Columbia (where this rig is registered), it is illegal to drive over the sticker-posted GVWR on the door, regardless of modifications done to the vehicle. The RCMP up here have been known to pull over every truck they can with a camper, or every RV, and use portable scales to weigh them and if you are #1 over the sticker weight you get ticketed. It's a stupid law but it brings me back to the point of why this was ever built on an F250 to begin with.

I bet the stickered GVWR on this F250 is around 8600#, and the actual weight is probably like 11000# or more. I would not want to be the person pulled over in this, with 2400# over GVWR, trying to explain to the RCMP member that your truck is actually an F350.

Honestly the only option to not be way beyond gvwr loaded for a rtw trip would be a drw. 2017 F350 drw gvwr is 14000.
