Default Are E250 and E350 frames different...?

...or are they the same and the increased E350 payload due to springs, shocks, etc? The interwebs are failing me on this one.

Funny. I was looking into this today as I'm thinking about upgrading my e150 suspension. I couldn't find a concrete answer.

    Yes they are different.

This link should help you out if your year is listed.

Yes they are different as stated. Maximum frame side rail section is clearly listed differently (at least for the years I briefly looked at), axle specs and spring specs etc are in there too.

I think most attachment points are the same (you’d have to get cad files probably) but there are variances in the frame.

    Thanks JSweezy.

In derjack's defense, I had to visit the link twice to figure out where to find the info. This is the specific page https://www.fleet.ford.com/truckbbas...1/eservacd.pdf.

Big difference in the frame section modulus (moduli?): 3.3" on the 250 vs 5.44" on the 350.

    Thanks for the link.

Are all 4th Gen E150s more or less the same? Is the 2000 data relevant to my 1996?

I don't know the answer to that question. Hopefully one of the gurus on here can help.
