Canter model decoding for Australian models

Hi,
Can anyone direct me to information to decode Australian Mitsubishi Canter model numbers?
Most of the info I can find relates to overseas models or doesn't include the letters/numbers in some of the trucks I am looking at.

Cheers

Thanks for the replies.
I'd like to be able to work out engine types and chassis lengths etc as I browse the net without having to bother others all the time.
This is the best explanation i have found so far but appears to be different to whats available in Australia.

https://carused.jp/mitsubishi_canter/spec

eg: This one i was looking at doesn't fit FG639W6

Hi Dave,

I assume your 92 model is 2wd?, from what I know there has not been a lot of significant change in chassis lengths over the years, and the 2wd chassis are generally longer than the 4wd variants.

As an example, the current model 4wd https://cdn.fuso.com.au/Docs/SpecSheets/Canter%20FG%204x4%20wide%20cab.pdf has 1808mm rear cab to axle and the 2wd https://cdn.fuso.com.au/Docs/SpecSheets/Canter%20Crew%20Cabs.pdf has 2271mm for the same spec. and these figures are pretty close to your quoted estimated figures.

So these are the type of spec sheets I'm looking for.
Are these available for 93 & 09 models?
What I am thinking is the 4.9 turbo diesel with 5 stud wheel so I can swap my wheels over. I believe they went to 6 stud in 2010.
Not particularly interested in vehicle with DPF or SCR either.
Am I on the right track with 09 model?

Cheers
Dave
