Yeti kind of lost me after they released their Ice Cooler purse for the same price as their coolers.

I will stick with my American Camp Chair sold via Autohomeus.com, and my Blue Ridge Chair Works chairs.
They are comfy...

Props to companies like this who get rich from the morons buying this crap from their strong advertising and probably one good idea they had that caught on.
(I’m just jealous)

This is so you can say “yes, I can afford to buy a $300 camp chair”. Buy cheap ones at Dicks and burn them the last night of each trip to save packing space.

Hey Yeti, pick something else to over charge for. Here are some ideas, Yeti ice trays (super cold), Yeti replaceable bottle caps for your beer or Yeti beer shotgun tool because using your cars keys, is just so ... pedestrian.

Nic elooking chair, but as others have said their are multiple chairs that are very similar, nothinh really new here and for the price tag it better be made of gold or be the best damn chair ever. I love my yeti rambler I have had for years, but looking through their catalogue lately, they have almost doubled in price, I bought my original for 20 dollars about 5 years ago(I think). They have now priced their kit so it is unobtanium for the regular person.

Or maybe you have a left-over 2x10 or some scrap 1/2” ply lying around...

I mean really, how much time are we spending sitting around camp??

But hey, end of the day...

John61ct,
Those are not camping chairs.
You can use an old drywall mud bucket found on the side of the road for free. If you are just sitting around the fire.
Tree stumps, rocks, that sort of thing are provided by nature as well.

But, but... As soon as you break 120 of those chairs, the Yeti will pay for itself! Case closed. :sombrero:

Dammit you’re right. Guess one should stick to to the metal chairs from the Grange (or maybe that Yeti after all) if one were to mount an expedition to visit those tribes that engage in ritual backyard wrestling...

Boy, some harsh comments. I looked at the description and it only seems like it's $60/TM:

EASYBREATHE™
DIEHARD™
GRIDGUARD™
DOUBLEBARREL™
HAULER™

They've gotta charge that much for all the trademark attorneys and marketing people, no? And wouldn't your butt be more comfy on a trademarked seat? :sombrero: Although looking at those names, they do sound kinda like a line-up of porn DVDs, although nothing wrong with that.
