1990 LWB rear cam plugs

Hi guys,
My 1990 LWB developed an oil leak that is driving me insane. Long story short, I had the heads out for head gasket work, a stud holding the cam had to be fixed so the machine shop dipped the heads after I had installed the cam plugs so I am thinking that might have shorten their life and are leaking bad.

I have never replaced these plugs with the heads in place, any tricks or ideas?

Thanks,
Javy

none that i can think of. seem to remember they are impossible to get to .

were we able to pull valve covers and seal the leak? i cant remember. maybe so.

a thought. some of these new tech tapes are impressive. i wonder, with proper research and the right type if we could just tape the covers over.
